Some time ago I just happened to write for a german blog about Australia. Actually I wrote two parts of my "aussie experience". Today the first part was published. So if you're interested in, just check it out by clicking on the following pic.

tastes like home...
pretty strange feeling this week during lunch break. was just walking down towards the Alexanderplatz in Berlin, Germany and started drinking a fresh mango-maracuja juice...and it somehow tasted exactly like one of my favorite juices I used to drink in Sydney. Man. Felt pretty strange, familiar...really like home. For a few minutes I felt like lying in Bondi, a fresh boost juice in my hand, a marvellous view at the ocean...
really hope i'll be back some time!

Access Denied!
A week ago I received mail from 'my company'.
We are sorry to tell you, that our visa application was rejected. Unfortunately we are not allowed to employ non-Australian people...
Fantastic. It took the immigration office 4 months to realize this?!! And 3 weeks before my scheduled take off they realize it? F..k! Pretty racist thing by the way. Anyway...can't change anything. Dream is over. Thx a lot!

all good things come to...a beginning ;-)
Well. Finally I was able to send my signed employment letter back to the amazing company where I will write my thesis. Had to wait for quite a while since I first had to ask my professor for permission. Now that he said "yeah, sounds cool.." I was able to sign, seal and deliver ;-) So now we gotta wait for the visa...so keep on going crossing your fingers - so far it really helped a lot.
Cheers :D

Fingers crossed...
Just had a date with my professor ;-) We've been talking about a possible topic for my thesis in Sydney...sounded quite good actually. But still a lot of organisational work left. So no party at the moment. But chances are rising. Maybe it'll work out...so, fingers crossed! :)
